1.Who we are

Midnight Sakura is a small Arizona studio making hand-sculpted, LED-embedded wall art. This policy covers midnightsakuras.store and the emails and text messages we send. When we say "we" or "us," we mean Midnight Sakura.

2.What we collect

What you give us

• 75% off offer: first and last name, email, phone number, and shipping address (street, city, state, ZIP).
• Monthly giveaway: your email, your state, and the email address of the friend you invite.
• Partner program: name, email, phone number, and your Instagram or TikTok handle if you share it.
• Messages and reviews: anything you send when you reply to our emails or texts, including feedback about your piece.

What's collected automatically

• Server logs: our web host records basic technical details for every visit, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
• Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
• Your filter choice: the Event Lookup page remembers which area you last picked, stored only in your own browser.
• Site activity: we measure how people use our site so we can improve it. Your browser stores a random ID (not your name) so repeat visits count as one visitor. We record the pages you view, the buttons and links you click, how far you get in our forms, the device type (phone or computer), and how you found us: the website that sent you, or a campaign tag in the link, such as one from our TikTok or Instagram. If you sign up, we connect this activity to your email so we can see which pages and links led to your signup and order.

We collect site activity ourselves and store it with the rest of your information (see section 6). We don't use advertising cookies, third-party analytics services, or ad tracking pixels, and we don't share site activity with advertisers. You can reset the random ID at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

3.How we use it

• Send your discount code and let you know if the offer has filled up.
• Process and ship your order, and answer your questions about it.
• Follow up after your piece arrives and ask for your honest review.
• Run the monthly giveaway, including contacting the friend you invite and notifying winners.
• Send emails and text messages about your order, new pieces, seasonal drops, events, and offers.
• Respond to partner program signups.
• Understand which pages, links, and channels lead to signups and sales, so we can improve the site and our offers.
• Keep the site secure, prevent spam and fraud, and meet legal requirements.

4.Text messages

When you give us your mobile number and submit a form that says so, you agree to receive text messages from Midnight Sakura about your order, follow-ups, new pieces, events, and offers. Some messages may be sent using automated technology.

• How often: message frequency varies.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Opting out: reply STOP to any message at any time. You'll get one final text confirming you're unsubscribed.
• Help: reply HELP, or email us at the address below.
• Mobile carriers aren't responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text message consent with any third party for their own marketing. We only share it with the service we use to send texts, and only so it can deliver our messages to you.

5.Giveaway friend invites

When you enter the giveaway, you give us a friend's email address. We send that friend one invitation. They're only entered if they confirm. If they don't confirm, we won't email them again. Please only invite people you know would welcome it.

6.Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We only share it with the services that help us run the shop, and only as much as each one needs:

• Hostinger: hosts this website and a private backup of form submissions.
• Google: Google Sheets stores submissions, Gmail sends our emails, and Google Fonts serves the site's fonts.
• Our text messaging provider: delivers our texts to you.
• Etsy: when you buy through our Etsy shop, Etsy handles your order under its own privacy policy.
• Shipping carriers: receive your name and address to deliver your piece.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is ever sold or transferred.

7.How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, such as fulfilling your order, running that month's giveaway, or keeping records we're required to keep. After that, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see section 8).

8.Your choices and rights

• Emails: click "unsubscribe" or reply asking us to stop.
• Texts: reply STOP.
• See, correct, or delete your information: email us and we'll handle it within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising, and we won't treat you differently for using any of these rights. Send requests to the email below. You may also have an authorized agent make a request for you.

9.How we protect it

Form submissions travel over a secure (https) connection. Backup files are stored in a private folder on our host that can't be opened from the web, and only we can access our Google Sheet. No system is perfect, so we can't promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10.Children

Our site and offers are for adults. The giveaway is open only to people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we'll delete it.

11.Other websites

Our site links to Etsy, Instagram, TikTok, and Discord. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one doesn't cover them.

12.Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll let you know by email.
